There is an American Revolution lecture event at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium on Sunday, April 30, 2023, as a not-for-profit “gift” to the community entitled “The Carolinas, Turning Point of the American Revolution – and a British Perspective.” Far from the typical history lecture, this event will be rich with new information about real life heroes of the era – many of whom have never been showcased before. Our American presenter will bring 30 years of US Navy experience, service as a White House Chef and General Manager of Camp David, along with extensive history-preservation to our audience. Plus, we will hear directly from a seasoned British Royal Navy warship commander-turned-historian about the British perspective of the time, the time before, and the time since. The main event is set for 5PM-7PM, with a variety of interesting content available in the pre-event period of 3:30-5PM as well.
It’s a worth-it-to-come-early opportunity. Tickets are $10 and are available as noted, … and we would be pleased to arrange a group discount for you.
