Commemoration Service for the Battle of Ninety-Six – November 20, 2021

The Commemoration of the 240th Anniversary of the Battle of Eutaw Springs

Ted Walker VP Piedmont Region SCSSAR / President Henry Laurens Chapter and Pete Widell member / Adjutant SCSSAR Color Guard attended and participated in the mixed SAR color guard, Dan Woodruff Commander, militia and ceremonies at the 240th Commemoration of the Battle of Eutaw Springs on 4 Sept 2021 in Eutawville, South Carolina. Compatriot Doug Doster was master of ceremonies, the program consisted of posting colors, opening prayer, SAR rituals, guest speaker SC C.A.R.  State President Jay Bobo, award presentation and closing remarks. The Historic Church of the Epiphany was a very outstanding choice for celebrating The Spirit of Independence and a patriotic ceremony. When the ceremony concluded all attendees relocated to the memorial site for a cannon / musket salute and chapter wreath presentation. Special thanks to all who attended, participated and presented during ceremonies and congratulations to a job well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
