June 11, 2022 – 241st Anniversary/Memorial of the Siege & Battle

of the Star Fort at Ninety Six-1781

Cambridge Chapter with the National Park Service conducted the 241st Anniversary Commemoration and Memorial Service at the stockade fort on the National Park Historic Ninety Six Site at 10:00AM, June 11, 2022. Wreaths were displayed, greetings presented and a short presentation outlining each day of the 28 day siege.

Founding Compatriot John Robertson Gossett Grave Marking Ceremony – March 12, 2022 – Easley, South Carolina

It was a very windy day in Easley. Members of the Gen. Andrew Pickens Chapter, Robert Anderson Chapter, Daniel Morgan Chapter, SCSSAR President David Smith, and others braved the wind to honor Founding Compatriot John Robertson Gossett and mark his grave site with a SAR Compatriot Marker.
