The SCSSAR Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a Silent Auction Friday night from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Vendors Room located close to the Banquet Hall at the Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Northeast located at 8910 Farrow Road, Columbia, SC 29203.

We are asking that all ladies who can to please bring to the hotel items for sale at the Silent Auction by 4:00 P.M. Any “excess treasures” of yours are welcome! If you are arriving later please come on anyway! Mrs. Martha Girz and I will be there to lay out the auction items.

We hope to have a final swing through the Silent Auction for last minute bidders midway through the dinner. Winners will be announced that evening and items must be picked up by close of the dinner and awards banquet…a tight schedule but doable with your help. 

On Saturday morning, April 18th, those of you who wish to may meet in the hotel lobby between 9:15 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. to join other spouses for a morning trip into Columbia to pursue antique stores. Mrs. Jo Wyrsodick will lead this excursion. Cars will be needed and car pooling will be helpful. Many thanks to Jo! Lunch in Columbia near the shops is possible if you desire it. I have been advised that the morning men’s meeting should be completed by 12:00 noon.

P.S. membership dues of $3.00 are welcome but not required for participation in these events. As a member of our S.C. Auxiliary you automatically become a member of the National Auxiliary at no extra cost.
