The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism across the United States. Since the Society’s founding, more than one million women have found purpose and passion in DAR membership.

The American Battlefield Trust
For more than 35 years, the American Battlefield Trust has led the nation in preserving America’s battlefield land and educating the public about what happened there and why it matters. We view these hallowed grounds as outdoor classrooms that teach and inspire young and old alike about the sacrifices made during our nation’s turbulent first century to secure the freedoms that Americans enjoy today.



The General Society Sons of the Revolution
The purpose of the General Society, Sons of the Revolution (“GSSR”), is to engage first and foremost to meet the declared mission of Article I of the Constitution of the General Society: to engage with State Societies in activities which further the education of the general public (especially America’s youth) about the American Revolution and the United States Constitution and about the patriots who supported those worthy causes during the period of 1775-1789.
